The Temptations Revue...
Much more than a tribute! This show is a musical extravaganza
dedicated to the late Temptations... filled with songs from the library
of one of the greatest Motown acts of all time... and featuring Nate
Evans, a former lead singer with the Temptations.
After the deaths of David Ruffin and Eddie
Kendricks, Dennis Edwards became the group leader and chose Nate Evans
(former lead singer of Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions) to replace
the departed Eddie Kendricks. Therefore, the moves and arrangements
performed by this group are a replica of (or perhaps better than) the
original Temptations show.
This group assembled by Nate Evans...
is comprised of
Curtis Taylor (songwriter and recipient of the 1999 R&B Satin
Award)... Grady Harrell
(former singer with Patti LaBelle) is a recording artist in his own
right... his Stevie Wonder produced album "Come Go With Me" reached
Billboard's top 100... T-Sean Dawson
(former Quincy Jones artist) is a 9 year veteran with this group and the
former lead singer with Sweden's #1 group "Infinite Mass".
Last but not least, Dennis Inman
(known in the R&B industry for having one of the most powerful bass
voices in the business) was the final member to lend his talents to the
group chosen to keep the sound of the Temptations alive and well. |
